Our Process

Six unhurried steps,
from seed to bottle.

Our press house in Lahore runs on a slower clock. Nothing here is automated for speed — every batch passes through the same six steps we built the brand around.

Inside the Organic Nursh press house

01

Harvested at peak

We source seeds, herbs and flowers from a handful of certified-organic partner farms across Punjab and Sindh. Each ingredient is harvested at its peak season — never out of cycle, never stockpiled for years.

02

Sun-cured & sorted

Botanicals are dried slowly in shade or low sun to preserve volatile oils, then hand-sorted to remove any seed that isn't whole. Roughly a third of every harvest never makes it to the press.

03

Wood-pressed below 45°C

Sorted seeds enter our wooden ghani and turn for hours under steady, low friction. The oil drips out gently — never extracted with heat, never finished with solvents.

04

Rested & filtered

Fresh oil rests in stainless drums for several days so sediment can settle naturally. We filter through cotton — no bleach, no deodoriser, no high-speed centrifuge.

05

Infused with herbs

For our herbal blends, we infuse the cold-pressed base with hibiscus, bhringraj, brahmi, amla and other botanicals over slow heat for weeks — drawing colour, scent and active compounds into the oil.

06

Hand-bottled & stamped

Each amber bottle is filled by hand, sealed, labelled and stamped with its batch number and press date. Nothing leaves the press house anonymously.

Tested, batch by batch

Slow doesn't mean unchecked.

Every batch is tested in third-party labs for purity, peroxide value and microbial load before it earns a label. If a press doesn't pass, it doesn't ship — it goes back to the farms as compost.
